Here are a few facts about walnuts: walnuts are a rich source of energy and contain many health benefiting nutrients, minerals (iron, manganese, magnesium, selenium, zinc, potassium, calcium and copper), antioxidants and vitamins (E, B6, etc.) that are essential for optimum health.
So eat a handful of walnuts a day, and you will have enough recommended levels of minerals, vitamins, and protein.
But don't eat too much, or you will have problems with your stomach and will also gain weight, as they are high in calories and fat (the healthy kind of fat; but still, fat is fat).
